The Magic of Community: Our 2025 Holiday Initiative

Last year, the Rising Rose Foundation was made up of just eleven women with big hearts and even bigger determination. Together, they delivered full holidays to four Southern NH families who were facing circumstances no family should have to navigate alone.

There were gifts under the tree, holiday dinners on the table, decorations all around and in one home, we were even able to help restore clean running water.

The photos from that week still say everything: women wrapping gifts on living room floors, sorting donations with their children nearby, laughing through late-night packing sessions, and turning conference rooms into makeshift Santa’s workshops. Real people showing up in real ways, proving how powerful community can be.

For those who are new here, the Rising Rose Foundation is a women-led nonprofit serving families throughout Rockingham County and surrounding areas. We believe in local impact, compassionate action, and the idea that ordinary women—when united—can create extraordinary change. Our initiatives support families facing financial strain, health challenges, food insecurity, housing hardships, and unexpected crises. Our goal is simple: meet people where they are and help lift them through the hardest moments of their lives.

This year, our Holiday Initiative has grown.In 2025, we are supporting six families across the greater Rockingham County area, all raising school-age children or younger—all facing different hardships that no parent should have to shoulder alone.

Some families are rebuilding after loss.Some are starting over with nothing.Some are working tirelessly just to keep the lights on and food on the table.

Every family has a story. And every act of generosity helps rewrite that story with hope.

We are currently seeking help with:

• Wishlist fulfillment

• Grocery, gas, and household gift cards

• General donations to support holiday needs

We know times are tough. Truly. But every little bit counts.

A warm coat.

A set of blocks for a child who has none.

A grocery card for a parent deciding between bills and dinner.

A blanket.

A toy.

A moment of joy.
