About The Rising Rose Foundation

At the Rising Rose Foundation, we believe the most meaningful change begins close to home — within our own neighborhoods, among our own people.

Founded by women and led by women, Rising Rose is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in compassion, connection, and action. We exist to support individuals and families facing hardship right here in the Greater Rockingham County, New Hampshire area — quietly, respectfully, and with intention.

Every season, we focus on real needs impacting real people. When life feels heavy, we show up.

Our Beginning

Although the Rising Rose Foundation officially launched to the public on January 1, 2025, our work began long before that.

Since May 2024, our four founders and an early group of core members were already working behind the scenes — building systems, forming partnerships, and supporting local families through our close community network.

What started as a shared calling quickly grew into something bigger.

Today, Rising Rose is 32 women strong, united by a single purpose:
to uplift our community with dignity, transparency, and heart.

Our Impact So Far

In our very first year:

• Over $35,000 raised

• 14 local individuals and families directly supported in 2025

• 5 additional families supported during the 2024 holiday season, even before our official launch

Every dollar raised stays local. Every decision is made with care. And every story is treated with respect.

We serve community members facing hardship that impacts one or more of our four pillars: Home, Health, Harvest, and Holiday.

Our Four Pillars

🏡 Home

Everyone deserves a safe, functional place to live.

We partner with generous local businesses, tradespeople, and volunteers to address urgent home-related needs — from accessibility modifications to essential repairs.

Through our Home Initiative, we’ve helped:

• Restore access to clean, safe water for a family of five

• Install a required egress window so newborn twins could remain safely with their grandmother

• Fully renovate a bathroom and living space for a man with mobility challenges, restoring his independence and dignity

💚 Health

Healing should never be out of reach.

When traditional systems fall short, we step in with practical, compassionate support — helping cover medical costs, prescriptions, transportation, and recovery-related care.

Through our Health Initiative, we’ve:

• Paid for life-sustaining prescription medications for a single mother battling cancer

• Funded the majority of a kidney transplant for a young man now scheduled for surgery

• Provided paramedical tattooing for a breast cancer survivor, helping her reclaim confidence after treatment

🌽 Harvest

Feeding hope. Sharing abundance.

Our fall outreach centers on food security, hunger relief, and strengthening local food systems.

Through our Harvest Initiative, we’ve:

• Provided full Thanksgiving meals, stocked freezers, and grocery gift cards for families facing food insecurity

• Partnered with a local food pantry to collect an entire truckload of canned and shelf-stable food, helping stock shelves for months to come

🎁 Holiday

Because everyone deserves magic — especially during the hardest seasons.

The holidays can magnify hardship. We believe they should also bring hope.

Through our Holiday Initiative, we supported six families in 2025 facing medical crises, displacement, food insecurity, housing loss, and financial instability.

Each family received:

• Personalized gifts based on wish lists

• Winter clothing, bedding, household essentials, and pet supplies

• A full holiday meal, Christmas tree, and grocery gift card

• Something special just for the caretakers, too

Our goal is never just to give — it’s to remind families they are seen, valued, and not alone.
