At the Rising Rose Foundation, our mission is to serve those in need throughout the Greater Rockingham County area. Through our four core Impact Initiatives — Home, Health, Harvest, and Holiday — we work to uplift individuals and families by providing meaningful, targeted support.
If you know someone facing hardship who could benefit from assistance under one of these pillars, we invite you to submit a nomination on their behalf. Whether it's a neighbor, friend, co-worker, or someone in your community, your compassion can make a difference.
Please note: We do not accept self-nominations.
Nomination Guidelines:

Who can be nominated?
Individuals or families in Greater Rockingham County facing hardship related to:-
Home: Urgent home repairs, accessibility improvements, or safe living support

Health: Access to care, wellness support, or recovery needs

Harvest: Food insecurity or essential nourishment assistance

Holiday: Holiday gifts, meals, and seasonal support for families in need

Who can nominate?
Anyone aware of someone else’s need—community members, neighbors, teachers, service providers, etc. -
What happens next?
A member of our team will review your submission and follow up with you regarding the status.
Important Notes
While we wish we could say "yes" to every request, our ability to provide assistance depends on available funding and resources at the time of your submission. Submitting a nomination is not a guarantee of support.
We are a small but mighty foundation, and each nomination is reviewed with care, compassion, and responsibility. We appreciate your understanding as we do our best to serve as many as we can with the resources we have.
